We are seeking a detailed oriented individual to fill the role of Intermediate and Junior Renovation Carpenters.
The Carpenter duties include all on-site renovation carpentry for all types of home renovations.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with project managers and project coordinators in the scheduling and coordination of work on site.

Review drawings and assist subcontractors in interpreting technical designs and specifications.

Ensure that work is performed in accordance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures.
Qualifications

A minimum of 4-7 years related residential construction-based design experience.

Must be proficient at all types of residential renovation projects including additions, whole house renovations, kitchens, bathrooms and basements.

Must possess superior carpentry skills which are required for all types of home renovation projects.

A working knowledge of all trades associated with residential construction.

A demonstrated ability to understand simple plumbing, heating and electrical work.

An understanding of the Ontario Building Code as it applies to residential construction, particularly OBC Part 9.

A demonstrated ability to read, understand and communicate through residential construction design drawing.

A proven ability to manage people, trades and customer relationships.

Must have strong communication skills.

Must have own transportation
