PICTURE PERFECT KITCHEN
This 1980’s home featured a dark, enclosed kitchen right at the heart of the house. Our contemporary homeowner’s were seeking more counter space, more storage, and a brighter more inviting space to entertain.
THE CONCEPT
This 3D rendering in design helps our customers visualize how their kitchen will look.
THE PLAN
The 3D sketches are great for visualizing the cabinetry and detail. This kitchen needed way more storage.
THE BEFORE
The original kitchen was small with darker cabinetry and minimal storage.
THE DESIGN
This format of drawing really brings a life like perspective to this main floor renovation.
DETAILS
These windows truly make this kitchen, especially the two smaller ones on either side. These two windows open and provide so much natural light on the counter.
THE FINISHED SPACE
This photo shows just how large and bright this kitchen is. It has a ton of storage, a beverage station and it open on either side to the family and dining room. The two-tone cabinetry adds an element of style while still making it feel like a cohesive space.
THE HOME
While our customers wanted both the family room and kitchen to be an open space, they still wanted the family room to feel cozy and warm. This was done by having a difference flooring, paint colours and a beautiful fireplace.
THE FINISH
Strategically placed windows provide a panoramic view of the yard without compromising storage. New structural beams allow the kitchen to open up to the living spaces and a custom wine and coffee bar allows guests to serve themselves without entering the cooking area.
We saw an opportunity to turn the space around, improving flow through the house and making the most of the view to their stunning backyard
