They can also help manage the timeline of the design phase and keep organized all the necessary decisions required before construction. Ultimately, this allows homeowners to have a better sense of a realistic design completion date and/or construction start date and can play a major role in efficiently and effectively using the allotted time.

In a tangible sense, during the design phase an Interior Designer will be able to tell you what work needs to be done, when to do it, products that work best and where to find them. They help guide the search for the necessary products and finishes so the task of finding your desired materials is more manageable and enjoyable. These internal departments work closely from the preliminary design straight through to the construction completion to ensure the renovation runs smoothly and that all aspects are taken care of, while consulting the homeowner throughout each phase.

One of the most important roles of an Interior Designer is to plan a creative and unique space design to suit a homeowner’s functional needs.
